Conductor Joseph F. Young will conduct his opening concert as the newly appointed Music Director of the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra on October 24, 2019. The Program will feature

• Olly Wilson Shango Memory
• Ravel Piano Concerto in D Major with Conrad Tao, piano
• Beethoven Symphony No. 4

The concert will be performed at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Zellerbach Hall on the campus of the University of California (Berkeley, CA).

Conductor Joseph F. Young was recently appointed by Peabody Conservatory as their new Ruth Blaustein Rosenberg Artistic Director of Ensembles. He is recipient of three Solti Foundation U.S. Career Assistance Awards for young conductors.
