Conductor Akiko Fujimoto has been selected as finalist in the search for Music Director for the Lexington Philharmonic. She will conduct her finalist concert on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Singletary Center for the Arts in Lexington. The Program will feature

• Libby Larsen - Deep Summer Music
• Ginastera - Harp Concerto, op 25 with harpist Allegra Lilly
• Beethoven Symphony No. 7

Conductor Akiko Fujimoto was recently appointed Music Director of the Mid-Texas Symphony Orchestra.  She is also currently Associate Conductor of the Minnesota Orchestra. She was formerly Associate Conductor of the San Antonio Symphony.
