Conductor Henry Cheng has won First Prize in the 2018 Antal Doráti International Conducting Competition. He also was recently awarded the 2018 First Prize of the 1st European Union Conductor’s Competition.

Conductor Henry Cheng is currently Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Klangkraft Orchester (Duisburg, Germany) as well as a Visiting Artist at Cornell University. Maestro Cheng has an active career in the Europe, the United States and Asia which includes orchestral, opera and dance.
