Multi-genre artist Damien Sneed has been appointed Music Director and Composer-in-residence of the Houston Grand Opera. 

Maestro Damien Sneed is a multi-genre artist who will bring his skills as a conductor, composer, pianist, producer, arranger, and vocal coach to the Houston Grand Opera team. Among his responsibilities, Damien Sneed will work closely with the opera company on new commission projects, compose a new work for their performance, and serve as Cover Conductor for Patrick Summer on main-stage productions.
