Conductor Roger Kalia – appointed Music Director of Evansville Philharmonic

Conductor Roger Kalia has been appointed Music Director of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra in Evansville, Indiana. The orchestra is the largest arts organization in the tri-state area where Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois intersect.

Conductor Roger Kalia is also Music Director of Symphony New Hampshire, where he was recently appointed following an 18-month search. He is Co-founder and Music Director of the Lake George Music Festival in upstate New York and is Music Director of Orchestra Santa Monica.

Conductor Roger Kalia begins his tenure with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra as he leaves his position as Associate Conductor of California’s Pacific Symphony and Music Director of the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Conductor Roger Kalia is a three-time recipient of The Solti Foundation U.S. Career Assistance Award (2018, 2017 and 2013).
