Conductor Yaniv Segal – upcoming debut with Minnesota Orchestra

Conductor Yaniv Segal will lead his debut concert with the Minnesota Orchestra in March 2019. Maestro Segal is currently Acting Assistant Conductor of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra as well as Music Director of the Chelsea Symphony of which he is the Founder and Artistic Director.

Maestro Segal was formerly Assistant Conductor of the Naples Philharmonic. He is an active composer with graduate degrees in composition and conducting from the University of Michigan. His most recent composition, a symphonic arrangement of Beethoven’s Sonata for Violin and Piano in C Minor Op. 30 No. 2 was recently given its premier performance with the Naples Philharmonic. He is a recipient of the Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans(2009)
