Conductor Akiko Fujimoto will conduct her debut concert with the National Symphony Orchestra on March 8 2019. The NSO concert will celebrate International Women’s Day. The program for the concert was curated by NSO Artistic Advisor Ben Folds. Featured artists include comedian/vocalist Sarah Silverman, indie folk singer-songwriter Julian Banker, Hip Hop artist Danay Suarez and operatic soprano Leah Hawkins.

Conductor Akiko Fujimoto is currently Associate Conductor of the Minnesota Orchestra.
