Conductor Ken Lam –appointed Music Director of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra

Conductor Ken Lam has been appointed Music Director of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra.

Conductor Ken Lam is also currently Music Director of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and holds the positions of Resident Conductor at the Brevard Music Center in North Carolina and Artistic Director of Hong Kong Voices. He is Conductor Laureate of the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestras.

Maestro Ken Lam’s previous positions include Assistant Conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Principal Conductor the Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra.  He was the 1st prize winner in the 2011 Memphis Symphony International Conducting Competition.
